The Judgement of Paris, a fan, the paper leaf painted in watercolour and bodycolour in shades of blue with Mercury watching the fateful scene of Paris handing the golden apple to Venus, aided by a putto, the verso with Cupid, the ivory sticks pierced, carved and gilt, a central vignette carved with a chinoiserie harpist and backed with mother of pearl - 11 ½in. (29cm), mid 18th century
