A Builder's Presentation Model Of The Tanker S.S. Ogden Ebro

A very fine builder's presentation model with a pre-formed resin hull filled, faired and painted with a rust red bottom, grey topsides and a maroon painted deck. Painted on the hull of the model is the name at the bow and stern, the draft markings at the bow, stern and amidships, and plimsole marks. The model is very well detailed with many of the metal fittings gold plated. The details and fittings include anchors, forward mast, bollards, anchor chain stops, forward mast, chocks, deck piping, gangways and catwalks, cargo cranes, fire stations, main superstructer with bridge, a single funnel painted in Ogden Ebro livery, mainmast with radar screens and horns, deck railings, life boats on davits, spare propeller, rudder and propeller, and many other details. The model is mounted on 4 brass pedestals which have been gold plated, and is displayed in a glass case with a single piece mahogany base and stand.
