A PAIR OF SCOTTISH EARLY VICTORIAN MAHOGANY BOOKCASES

Each with rectangular cyma recta moulded cornice, above a plain frieze and two paired folding glazed doors with brass flowered-trellis, one enclosing seven long shelves, the other with later vertical division and enclosing nine adjustable short shelves, one stamped 'JOHN TAYLOR & SONS MANUFACTURERS EDINBURGH' once, the other stamped twice, the locks stamped 'CLARKE & TIMMINS BIRMM', the shelves previously with vertical divisions
