The miniatures on the verso of this and the following seven folios depict a panoply of Hindu and Buddhist deities, from Ganesha to Buddha. The second group of leaves depicts the 9 planetary deities, nav graha. On each of the verso leaves is a description of the facing graha in Sanskrit and Newari, with details of its movements and influence on human affairs. And on either side of the figures are relevant tables. The two sets of texts and images belong together, as is seen in their shared style, and continuous numbering.
