All symbols of the officers of a loge (Lodge) are represented and some of the items of the tableau. Interesting is the combination of the symbols of the master on one side and the symbols of the pupil on the other side of the medal.
According to the masonic year-count AM 5763 is 1763. This regalia or insignia was therefor made in the early years of the organized Free Masons in The Netherlands.

Christie's is indebted to mr. J. Raphaël for his advice on this lot.
