A PARTHIAN TERRACOTTA FIGURE OF A HORSE AND RIDER

The tall bearded figure emerging from the body of the horse, wearing folded cap, the horse with applied disc eyes, traces of red painted decoration, one hind leg restored, 5¼ in. (13.3 cm.) high; and five early Christian pottery lamps, each of carinated leaf shape with extended nozzle and moulded decoration around the circular discus, circa 5th Century A.D., 3¾ in. (9.5 cm.) long av. (6)
