Modelled as a shepherd and shepherdess sitting before a triple-branched hollow tree on a rocky mound base, she petting a lamb, he with a crook and a sheep at his feet, an owl perched in the branches of the tree above them, naturalistically coloured in translucent glazes and overglaze enamels.
