A LARGE MOULDED LONGQUAN CELADON BALUSTER VASE
YUAN DYNASTY (1279-1368)

Heavily potted and crisply moulded around the sloping shoulder with a lotus scroll bearing two large blossoms and feathery leaves, above a narrow incised foliate-scroll band and upright leaves around the base, the neck with further tall overlapping leaves with the veining of the leaves incised for detail, with concentric ribs encircling the trumpet mouth
