Contemporary red morocco gilt, probably Edinburgh, covers with roll-tool border and central lozenge enclosing a design of semi-circles, gilt spine panels, 'Dutch' gilt endpapers embossed in red, gilt edges (rehinged, spine faded and restored at head and foot, upper and lower compartment a little wormed, label damaged, some scuff marks, corners rubbed). First published in 1655.
