Painted by Aalmis after engravings by Frederick de Moucheron with trees flanking an extensive formal garden with figures promenading before a pool surrounded by pleached trees and cut hedges, the foreground with a further shaped pool flanked by two classical statues on plinths, the base of one inscribed I.Aalmis.Pinxit a Rotterdam, the pool with swans and other fowl about a central fountain with Neptune and Tritons blowing on conch shells, a barge nearby (majority of tiles broken through and restored), attached to a modern rectangular wood mount
