TWO BRONZE PROCESSIONAL CROSSES AND A RECTANGULAR PLAQUE
Asia Minor, 11th-13th century
One cross depicting Christ and the Virgin to the center in an orans position and SS. Paul and Peter to the arms; each figure indentified by a monogram or inscription in Greek characters; the other depicting St. Prokopios in an orans position and an inscription in Greek letters above; the plaque depicting SS. Damian and Panteleimon; the reverse of the plaque with six integrally cast raised parallel slats.
Losses to the crosses; oxidisation to the plaque.
