by the Imperial Porcelain Factory, St. Petersburg, period of Nicholas II, 1911, with later black overglazed State Porcelain Factory mark dated 1924, with number 747/9.
Shaped circular, painted with 'The Chronicler', after S. Vegerovskaia, the writer holding a feather, sitting on a cushion with a scroll by his side announcing the death of Lenin in 1924, marked under base
