ADVICE ON WHAT TO DO IN THE EVENT OF A NAZI INVASION OF SWITZERLAND: Mileva should speak to the directors of the Burghölzli asylum, and ask them to take in Eduard if he is politically in danger. 'Otherwise there is only the possibility to be considered of changing your surname to your maiden name' -- only of course if the reason for the change can be concealed. 'Emigration to Yugoslavia no longer comes into the question, and is of course in the case of Tetel's [Eduard's] internment not practicable'.
