This is one of the thirty 'Sermons in Stones and Good in Everything' suggested by the Book of Ecclesiastes, exhibited by Byam Shaw at Dowdeswell's in 1902. The exhibition was discussed by Rex Vicat Cole, The Art and Life of Byam Shaw, 1932, p. 214.
