The first with waved pattern-welded blade with copper mendaq, gold-covered hilt in the form of a raksha, and associated wooden scabbard; the second with straight fullered blade (scattered pitting), and carved wooden garuda hilt with a silver cap on the end of the beak; the third with later silver collar engraved with a fouled anchor, and carved ivory hilt (shortened), in associated brass-mounted wooden scabbard (defective, sarongan missing); the fourth with waved pattern-welded blade, gilt mendaq decorated with raised beads, wooden grip, and wooden scabbard (sarongan cracked) covered for much of its length with white-metal embossed on one side with foliage; the pen case of gilt iron pierced and chiselled with scrollwork inhabited by dragons
