A VISIGOTHIC GOLD AND SILVER FINGER RING
Circa 7th Century A.D.
The plain hoop round in section, joined to the underside of the oval bezel, with three granules on either side of the join, the tiered bezel with grooves along the outer edge, set with a silver oval inlay engraved with a undeciphered inscription with crosses and the letters TISIM
15/16 in. (2.4 cm.) wide; ring size 9
Provenance
Said to have been found in Spain.
