Rectangular in form, sculpted at the upper end with the head of a bearded man in high relief, his beard and hair both rendered by echeloned curls, with a sharp brow, long triangular nose and thin, closed lips, the eyes raised with the pupils deeply recessed, an inscription below identifying the deceased
