Manner of Nagasawa Rosetsu (1754-1799), a hanging scroll
ink and colour on silk, depicting three figures hauling a boat -- 24¼in. x 11in. (61.5cms x 28cms), signed Rosetsu and sealed Gyo; a handscroll depicting a courtier-poet and the Six Jewel Rivers with poems, ink and colour on silk, signed Gain Seito and sealed Kai no in and Gain Seito; a hanging scroll of a drunken samurai and attendant with poem, ink and colour on paper, signed Oryu and sealed; a hanging scroll of irises, ink on paper, two seals; and a handscroll with poems and eight views of Nara, ink and colour on silk, signed Tsunenobu hitsu and sealed Yoboku, three with fitted wood boxes.
