A Chelsea-Derby blue-ground teacup and saucer
Circa 1775, traces of conjoined anchor and D mark
Painted in the Sèvres style with sepia musical trophies within gilt circular ciselée cartouches, suspended from swags of berried husks joined by tied gilt ribbons and reserved on a panelled bleu nouveau ground with gilt oeil-de-perdrix, gilt-line and dentil rims (wear to gilding and minute rim chip to underside saucer)
