A Chelsea-Derby turquoise-ground spirally moulded coffee-cup and saucer
Circa 1775, the saucer with conjoined anchor and D mark in gold
Painted in puce in the manner of Richard Askew with Cupid with a bird and birdcage, holding a tambourine and blowing a trumpet among clouds, within gilt-lobed cartouches on the spirally-moulded turquoise bands with gilt-edged ovolo-ornament (slight wear to gilt edge of handle and one cartouche of cup) (3)
