A pair of Meissen shaped plates
Circa 1765, blue crossed swords and dot marks, Pressnummer P 32 and painter's H to first, Pressnummer P and painter's three dots to second
The centres painted with exotic birds perched in trees before woodland landscapes, the borders with three gilt scroll-edged semicircular panels painted with flower-sprays against a pale-blue and white chequered-pattern ground moulded with three similar foliage scrolls, gilt-line rims (the first with small chip to underside of rim, both with very slight rubbing to the gilding)
