Circa 1745, blue crossed swords marks, gilder's gilt quatrefoil mark, Pressnummer 6 to cup and 7 to saucer
The cup with double-scroll handle with gilt shell thumb-piece, painted in Purpurmalerei with a standing gallant with his seated companion by an urn in a wooded landscape, flanked by Holzschnitt Blumen, the saucer with a pierced gallery moulded with gilt interlocking strapwork and with Holzschnitt Blumen flower-sprays and scattered ombrierte insects, gilt interlocking scroll borders and gilt line rims
