An English mahogany drop dial wall timepiece
With moulded frame and cast brass bezel to the 12in. diameter silvered and engraved Roman dial, with crossed minute track and subsidiary seconds ring, signed R.D WEBSTER/EXCHANGE ALLEY LONDON, pierced blued steel hands, the eight day movement with tall incurving triangular plates joined by five pillars, single gut fusee with tic-tac type escapement, with scratched inscription September 7 1829; movement and case adapted, circa 1829 -- 17¾in. (45cm.) high
