With flaming urn finials, handles to the sides above radiant mask cast side panels, on paw feet, front door detached, rear door lacking, the gilt-brass dial with foliate spandrels to silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, signed on a plaque below XII ROBERT H. HALFORD/43 FENCHURCH ST.T/LONDON, matted centre and steel hands, subsidiary rings for regulation and chime on 8 bells/chime on 4 bells, the eight day triple chain fusee movement with quarter chimes on eight nested bells and hour strike on gong, anchor escapement, with pendulum holdfast to the back plate -- 24¾in. (63cm.) high
