A Bing somersaulting teddy bear
with brown mohair, black boot button eyes, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed legs, brown felt pads, hump and clockwork mechanism operated by winding the arm back causing the bear to somersault suspended from hooks on tips of arms --13¾in. (35cm.) high, circa 1909 (thinning to forehead, arms and feet, bald patch on top of left arm, tip of left arm bandaged, arm reinforcing rods poking through in two places and slight repairs to pads)
