A rare Schuco shop window automated display
of a teddy bear with golden mohair, yellow and black glass eyes, pronounced muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, automated head and arm mechanisms, jointed legs, felt pads and metal attachment protruding from left hand --12¼in. (31cm.) seated height, a monkey with brown mohair, brown and black glass eyes, felt face, ears, hands and feet with brown air-brushing, white mohair chin and automated head mechanism --10½in. (26.5cm.) seated hight, both seated on a wooden simulated brick wall with electrically-operated pulley mechanism causing the bear and monkey to move --24in. (61cm.) overall height, 1930s (slight discolouration to felt, a few moth holes to one of bears feet pads, wall mounted on additional board, split to wall and base and mechanism untested (probably US voltage)
