According to the vendor, the overcoat in this lot was originally white and black and worn by Danny John-Jules as Cat in earlier episodes, but due to budget restrictions, was dyed for use in Series 5.

A costume comprising: a full-length catsuit of black PVC with high neck and elasticated stirrups; a jacket of canary yellow wool, with a hook and eye fastening at the neck, the front cut into a low curve and decorated with three black buttons; a full-length overcoat of yellow and black tiger-striped fun fur, trimmed at the lapel with black PVC; and a pair of yellow suede pointed Chelsea boots, labelled inside Shellys -- made for Danny John-Jules as Cat in the third episode of Series 5, Terrorform, in the 1992 B.B.C. television series Red Dwarf; accompanied by a reproduction of a corresponding colour still -- 8x10in.
