The bowfronted breakfront top above a fluted frieze, on square tapering stop-fluted legs with block feet, with plastic Norman Adams dealer's label, restorations to the surface, the fluting later, the edge of the top originally banded and the ends of the top extended

This table came from Horsted Place, Sussex, the Gothic mansion built between 1850 and 1851 for Francis Barchard to a design by Samuel Whitfield Daukes. The house was bought in 1966 by Lord and Lady Rupert Nevill, Lady Rupert reoganising and redecorating the house.
