This table came from Horsted Place, Sussex, the Gothic mansion built between 1850 and 1851 for Francis Barchard to a design by Samuel Whitfield Daukes. The house was bought in 1966 by Lord and Lady Rupert Nevill, Lady Rupert reoganising and redecorating the house.
