With rounded rectangular top above a shaped apron centred by a shell, on cabriole legs with squared paw feet, inscribed in chalk on the underside 'Bow ...', restorations to the surface

Lot Essay

This table has squared paw feet headed by a protruding 'fetlock', both characteristics of Irish furniture. Its apron is gracefully cut following a serpentine line, another feature common on mid-18th century Irish tables.
There is a closely related table at Florence Court, Co. Fermanagh (National Trust).
