Engraved portrait of John Ogilby, frontispiece, title printed in red and black, engraved double-page map and 105 plates and full-page illustrations, by Wenceslaus Hollar, William Faithorne and Pierre Lombart, mostly after Franz Cleyn, head-pieces and initials. (Frontispiece re-margined and shaved at fore-edge, a few leaves browned, occasional light spotting and staining.) 18th-century diced calf gilt (sections torn away from head and foot of spine, joints splitting, hinges weak, extremities rubbed). Provenance: Sir Robert Johnson Eden, Bart. (armorial bookplate); early signature of Johnson on title.
