A Four-Case Somada-Style Lacquer Inro**
Edo period (19th century), signed Yujisai and with kao (cursive monogram)
Decorated overall with a floral pattern in inlaid aogai on a roiro-nuri ground with two central medallions of a landscape and three Chinese sages rendered in gold, silver and black togidashi and takamaki-e, interior cases black lacquer with fundame edges; fitted with an iron ojime applied with a millet stalk in silver and gilt-metal and a lacquer netsuke of a man making tea
