Momoyama-Edo periods (17th-19th century), the first signed Kunishige, the second signed Mino (no) kami Fujiwara Masatsune, the third signed Yamato Uda gun ju Kunifusa saku and with partially illegible date ..jusan nen hachigatsu kichijitsu, the fourth inscribed Tsuda Echizen (no) kami Sukehiro
The first with a small rounded head forged in a running itame pattern with a suguha tempered edge, the tang of rectangular section and tapering to a point with vertical file marks and one peg hole; the second and third long and narrow of triangular section and carved with bo-hi on the bottom side, each with indistinct forging pattern and tempered edge, the fourth a three-pronged configuration and forged with indistinct pattern and tempered edge
