The peach-shaped helmet lacquered brown and applied with gold lacquer horns on the sides, the peak embossed with eyebrows and the small turnbacks applied with stencilled leather, the helmet fitted with a four-lame solid-plate neck guard of false scales, the bottom lame with a curved edge and close-laced in blue; the face mask a red-lacquered Ressei face mask with a detachable nose plate and an applied moustache and chin tuft and gold-lacquered teeth and with a four-lame solid throat guard laced in blue; the suit laced in blue and constructed with russet brown-lacquered kozane (scales), the mid-section and back of the cuirass iyozane (overlapping scales) with diamond-shaped rivet heads; fitted with seven sections of kusazuri (tassets), the lower plates laced in white and orange; the chu-sode (small shoulder guards) with false scales; the sleeves ota gote (with gourd-shaped plates); gold-lacquered solid plate thigh guards of false scales; splint shin guards; mount on back for flag
