Title to each part. 100 engraved plates, several hand-coloured, including 'Didus ineptus.' (Some browning and thumb-soiling of first few leaves, particularly on half-title, last few leaves with repaired worming at upper margin, without general title.) Late 19th-century German mottled boards, red edges (joints cracked, spine chipped and relaid). Part I with second edition title; other parts first edition.
