Original printed wrappers, glassine dustwrapper, original slipcase with silver paper covered edges and gold paper panels with overlaid vertical silver paper bands, unopened (dustwrapper lightly rubbed at edges, slipcase a little rubbed, both silver paper bands detached, one re-fixed with adhesive tape). SECOND, EXPANDED EDITION, NO. 9 OF 200 COPIES ON HOLLAND VAN GELDER ZONEN. SIGNED BY CROSBY, his signature embellished with a Black Sun device. Minkoff A17b; Published in Paris p.409.

FIRST AND SECOND EDITIONS, THE LATTER SIGNED BY CROSBY. The second edition of Transit of Venus included the poems of the first (albeit in a slightly different order), augmented 'Little Poem' (which became 'Little Poems') with a second, and added 10 new poems: 'New Every Morning', 'Panther', 'Endomonism', 'Phoenix', 'Unfathomed', 'Gay', 'Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep', 'Alchemy', 'Yes', and 'Amor'.
