The small jade carved as a kneeling boy holding a circular box in both hands with his head tilted upwards to his standing companion who holds a long stem of a lotus leaf over one shoulder, the stone of a even mutton-fat tone with russet inclusions, wood stand; the zitan box embellished with two rectangular ceramic plaques decorated in the famille rose palette to depict landscape scenes, divided by two rectangular panels of inscriptions, the interior with silk and brocade lining
