Of square section, carved on the upper section in high relief with a central chilong entwined amidst wispy cloud-scrolls, beside a smaller chilong emerging from a corner, the seal chop finely carved in zhuwen, 'positive text', with text from a series of eight poems, the stone of a pale greyish-green tone

The text is from a poem with the title Quixing Bashou, 'Eight Poems on a Flourishing Autumn', by the famous Tang dynasty poet, Du Fu (712-770).
