Comprising forty-three tiles, each painted in black under the turquoise glaze with a central carnation flowerhead surrounded by swirling floral designs, a part-flowerhead in each corner, occasional retouched chips, mounted on board, the surround made up by cobalt-blue hexagonal tiles

Provenance
Discovered by Theodor Sehmer in a public bath in the vicinity of the Blue Mosque in Tabriz.
