Tiles bearing the same pattern can be found on the mihrab wall of the mosque of Rustem Pasha completed in 1561 (Cimok, Fatih (ed.): The Book of Rüstem Pasa Tiles, Turkey, 1998, p.26 and Denny: The Mosque of Rustem Pasha and the Environment of Change, New York, 1977, pl.62).
