Lithographed frontispiece and 5 plates. (Some light spotting throughout, front inner hinge broken causing frontispiece to start detaching, stitching weak.) Contemporary cloth (spine and covers partly faded, rubbed). Provenance: W.B. Ashley (ownership inscription on endpaper) -- Francis Owen Wethered, Marlow Bucks, May 18, 1897 (ownership inscription on endpaper) -- Le Starvan (bookplate). FIRST EDITION. Neate 36: "Reissued in 1842 with an account of his funeral".
