Lot Essay

Munich was the starting point for a brief international tour beginning on 23rd June, 1966 and ending on 8th July when the Beatles arrived back in England following the last concert of the tour in The Philippines and a brief rest in India. The West German leg of the tour was called the 'Bravo Blitztournee' as it was sponsored by the German entertainment magazine Bravo. The train from which this menu comes was taken over by the group and their entourage especially for the journey from Munich to Essen and on to Hamburg.
