The shaped, outscrolled pierced back with a pair of arrow-form splats, the outside of the back with parcel-gilt stylized geometric foliage, all above a padded seat covered in royal blue cut velvet, above a scalloped decorated seatrail, on foliate-carved cabriole legs ending in animal-paw feet, the gilt embellishments and front legs probably of a later date
