Each with cartouche-shaped padded back, arms and seat covered in close-nailed 18th Century Aubusson tapestry of the fables de la Fontaine, the crest and seat-rail centered by flower-heads and foliate trails, above the cabriole legs headed by a flower and terminating in foliate scrolls, with variously inscribed paper labels to inside of seat-rails
One chair variously numbered 2 and with octagonal red-outlined label inscribed in black ink DRAWING ROOM #15 and with pencil-inscribed label Drawing... #15, the other chair variously numbered 3 and with octagonal red-outlined label inscribed in black ink DRAWING ROOM #6 and with fragmentary pencil-inscribed label Dra...
