A 1:1200 SCALE WATERLINE MODEL OF THE ROYAL MAIL LINE STEAMER R.M.S. ORINOCO (1886)
modelled by B. Williams with details including masts, rigging, anchors, deck rails, capstans, ventilators, covered hatches, derricks, superstruture with open bridge with helm, binnacles and officers, stayed funnels with 'smoke', engine room lights, ten covered lifeboats in davits and other details. The carved hull with portholes is painted white and set steaming in a moulded and painted seascape on display board with perspex cover. Overall measurements -- 5¾ x 14¼in. (14.5 x 36cm.)
