Formed of hammered sheet, the high-arching crest with a peaked double ridge, a repoussé bust of Minerva at the front of the crest, the goddess depicted with a triple-crested helmet and scaley aegis with central gorgoneion, her shield on her left shoulder, the helmet with molded ear protection, perforated for attachment along the visor below the Minerva bust
