Gold nashiji lacquer Aikuchi Koshirae [set of mounts with flush fitting between scabbard and hilt] comprising: nashiji lacquer saya with ho-o birds in hiramaki-e, silver fuchi-kashira, koikuchi, kurikata, kozuka, kogai, kaeri-tsuno, kojiri and bands in the center of hilt and around kurikata chiseled with butterflies and chrysanthemums on karakusa, circular gilt menuki carved with peonies, 17 5/16in.
