The first lenticular with integral himotoshi, two-case, the wood cases with lacquered surface, decoration in gold, black and red hiramaki-e and togidashi, the rims gold fundame, one side with cockerel on a drum, the reverse with scrolling foliage, the compartments and risers carved with floral designs, unsigned, a stagantler ojime of a lotuspod, top case with a crack; the second lenticular with integral himotoshi, four-case, gold ground, decoration in gold, silver, red, black hiramaki-e, takamaki-e, gold foil and kinpun, with a cockerel on a drum and a hen and chicks beneath a pine tree, compartments and risers gold nashiji, unsigned, slightly worn
