A LANGYAO FLARING BOWL; AND A SANG-DE-BOEUF BOWL
KANGXI (1662-1722) AND 18TH CENTURY
The first with broadly rounded sides rising from a high slightly tapering foot to a slightly flaring rim, covered in a rich, bubble-suffused red glaze with fine dark specks and a fine crackle around the base, rim chip and frits, 8¼ in. (21.2 cm.) diam.; the second with deep rounded sides, covered in a thick reddish-pink glaze, rim chips and frits, 8 1/8 in. (20,8 cm.) diam. (2)
