Each shaped oval, double-lipped, on conforming foot, with gadrooned borders, the rim with foliage-wrapped sides applied with shells and with pierced scroll handles, engraved with a coat-of-arms within floral and foliate mantling, each marked under base

The arms are those of Jenkinson impaling Cope, for Sir Robert Jenkinson 5th Bt. (1720-1766) and his wife Mary (d.1765), daughter of Sir Jonathan Cope 1st Bt. Sir Robert died childless and the title passed to his brother who died unmarried. The title then passed to their cousin Sir Charles Jenkinson 7th Bt., who was created Earl of Liverpool in 1796. (2)
