Exemplaire peu courant de vaisselle peinte en ocre, orange, noire et brun-rouge, aux parois droites et au bord plat. L'intérieur est décoré d'un motif peint vigoureusement et représentant un reptile à large tête stylisée, au regard fixe et aux narines relevées, et au corps ondulé décoré de motifs en pointillés indiquant les écailles. Motifs géométriques sur les bords intérieurs et extérieurs.

One of the few examples of this ware, painted in tan, orange, black and reddish brown, with straight sides and flattened rim, the interior painted with a bold, stylized depiction of a reptile's head with large, staring eye and upturned nostrils, the curling body with a dotted pattern indicating the scales, and further geometric patterns along the sides and exterior.
